On October 23rd, C&R Corporation will host a free online seminar titled "Getting Started with Basic Design Using Dynamo – Automating Floor Layouts and Quantity Calculations." This event is aimed at those looking to enhance their design work through the effective use of Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Overview of the Seminar

The seminar is designed for an audience that includes both newcomers to programming and experienced users. Designed to be user-friendly, Dynamo simplifies the use of visual programming, allowing professionals in architectural firms, construction companies, and local governments to adopt its benefits for their design tasks.

The seminar will be led by expert Shoya Akiyama, a seasoned instructor and engineer in BIM tools such as Revit and Dynamo. This session will focus on automating basic design processes, specifically creating floor layouts and calculating area and material quantities.

About the Speaker

Shoya Akiyama is a graduate of the Tokyo University of Science, where he studied architecture. He is currently involved in BIM-related tasks at AMDlab and has previously worked on design projects for residential and hotel buildings. His current endeavors include freelance work focusing on interior BIM and visualization.
