The New Joy of Riding
Liquid SKATEBOARD redefines the thrill of skating by integrating intuitive controls that react directly to the rider's movements.
1.
Intuitive Operation: Say goodbye to handheld controllers. Riders establish their desired speed with a simple push-off and maintain it through the board's foot sensors, activating the cruise control feature. Need to slow down? Just lift your foot slightly, and the assistance naturally halts, resulting in a gentle deceleration.
2.
Terrain-Sensing Technology: Using proprietary algorithms, Liquid SKATEBOARD effortlessly adapts to various terrains, whether flat, uphill, or downhill. On inclines, the motor boosts power for assistance, while on declines, the system engages regenerative braking to slow down while recharging the battery.
3.
Lightweight and Durable Design: Weighing only 4.8 kg and featuring an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, Liquid SKATEBOARD is designed for easy portability and outdoor use. Importantly, even if the battery runs out, riders can still use the board as a conventional skateboard.
The Development Story
Developed by a passionate team of professional riders, designers, and engineers from Denmark and France, Liquid SKATEBOARD is a testament to their dedication to “sliding sports.” Led by product designer and engineer Alexis, the team focused on capturing the essence of movement in their design. Extensive prototyping and testing have contributed to fine-tuning the motor output and sensor responsiveness, culminating in a product that marries technology with the joys of skating.
