October 18-19, 2025, at the
Kohoku THG Twin Arena in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture, this rally invites women from all walks of life to enjoy the beauty of Lake Biwa while participating in a variety of activities.
Among the influential figures set to grace the event is
Reiko Miyoshi, a pioneer in women's motorcycling, known for her achievements as an international rally racer and essayist. Her impressive track record includes winning the women’s motorcycle category in the
Paris-Dakar Rally in 1992, 1997, and 2000. At the rally, she will offer participants expert tips during her segment on
'One-Point Riding Advice'.
Another exciting guest is
Riko Fukuyama, a multi-talented motorcycle enthusiast, actress, model, and writer, famously recognized as the original
Mini-Skirt Police. Fukuyama will share her love for motorbikes and impart her photography techniques during the session titled
'Bike Photo Posing Techniques', encouraging riders to capture their experience on camera.
The event will also feature
Yoko Yamaguchi as the MC, who previously hosted the rally last year. A remarkable individual, Yamaguchi balances her career as a radio personality and event MC with her unique background as a bodybuilder and the first female puller of a rickshaw in Hikone. Her dynamic presence is sure to energize the event.
The Mayor of Nagahama City,
Nobuyoshi Asami, will represent the community, offering a warm welcome to all participants and emphasizing the city’s support for riders attending the event.

What is the MOTHER LAKE RALLY?
Now in its third iteration, the MOTHER LAKE RALLY is an initiative that made its debut in 2023. Unlike conventional racing events that mainly focus on speed or distance, this rally promotes a leisurely exploration of Lake Biwa's scenic spots through the use of a dedicated smartphone app. It’s not just about riding; it’s an opportunity to engage with the local community and connect with fellow riders.
