Strategic Partnership Launched for FAST Financial Accounting

Japan System Co., Ltd., headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, has officially partnered with Ishikawa Computer Center (ICC) in Kanazawa, Ishikawa. This collaboration aims to strengthen the deployment of the FAST Financial Accounting system in the Hokuriku area, following their OEM agreement established last year. The new version of FAST Financial Accounting, released on January 1, 2026, will serve as the foundation for this expanded market presence.

Background of the Collaboration

Japan System and ICC have maintained a good relationship through several past collaborations, particularly in proposing internal information systems for local governments. As customer demands continue to diversify, both companies recognized the need to enhance their partnership. Japan System's strategy to bolster its offerings in the Hokuriku region aligned perfectly with ICC's intent to strengthen its ability to meet local needs. Hence, they decided to collaborate more closely, focusing on the financial accounting domain, leveraging ICC's expertise and established user base.

Strengthening Collaborative Efforts

Moving forward, the partnership will promote internal administrative efficiency and digitalization among local governments in the Hokuriku region. ICC will take responsibility for everything from proposing the FAST Financial Accounting system to its implementation and ongoing maintenance. Meanwhile, Japan System will provide product support, training, and sales assistance to ICC.

Furthermore, ICC will market FAST Financial Accounting as part of its internal information systems product suite, known as COUS®. This integration aims to enhance the overall deployment of internal information solutions. Feedback and suggestions from customers communicated through ICC will inform enhancements to the FAST Financial Accounting system, aiming to improve user experience and operational efficiency.

Japan System is actively working to strengthen ties with partner companies across the country in response to growing demands in the internal affairs domain. These initiatives are set to enrich the support system available to local governments.

Features of FAST Financial Accounting

Japan System’s FAST Financial Accounting system is designed to enhance the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle within government and administrative operations. This solution contributes significantly to the digital transformation (DX) of local governments. Features include paperless operations, electronic approvals, electronic invoicing, and data visualization and analysis, which collectively increase operational efficiency and transparency.

To facilitate effective implementation and operation, FAST Financial Accounting also comes with comprehensive support, including Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and DX promotion consulting. For over 40 years, the product has supported the financial accounting operations of local governments, with over 280 organizations nationwide adopting it. Notably, 13 out of 23 special wards in Tokyo have chosen to utilize the system.
