The Collection Initiative
This initiative is part of Thermos's ongoing commitment to reducing environmental impact through resource recycling and sustainability efforts. As a leading brand in the insulated bottle market, Thermos has made it a key mission to provide sustainable products and services that enhance quality of life while also minimizing ecological footprints. Since 2023, Thermos has initiated a collection service for used stainless steel bottles, allowing customers to actively participate in recycling efforts.
Starting in 2024, Thermos will expand its recycling services to include sports facilities like Frontown, with the program commencing at home games in the 2025 season. This expanded effort is expected to significantly increase the amount of materials collected, thanks to the support of fans and supporters of Kawasaki Frontale. The collected bottles will be carefully processed, undergoing crushing and sorting to transform them into recycled materials for new products.
Collection Results
The current collection period has yielded substantial results:
- - Total Weight Collected: 775.7 kg
- This figure includes 27.2 kg collected from Frontown Saginuma and 23.6 kg from Anker Frontown Ikuta.
- - Collection Period: From April 20, 2025, to November 30, 2025, for a total of 18 games, and from February 8, 2026, to June 6, 2026, for 10 games.
Eligibility for Collection
The recycling initiative accepts various used stainless steel vacuum insulated products, including bottles, tumblers, cups, and soup jars. To encourage participation, Thermos offers a “5% Off Trade-In Coupon” for purchases made at their official online store, applicable to stainless steel vacuum bottles.

Collaboration with Kawasaki Frontale
Thermos officially became a partner of Kawasaki Frontale in 2022 and elevated its partnership in 2023. The collaboration has included several key initiatives at the Uvance Todoroki Stadium located in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Thermos has acquired naming rights for the “Party Seat” in the main stand and has engaged in branding activities while allowing fans to experience Thermos products directly at games.
