Notable examples include the "Zero-Carbon Bay" project located in the Lin-kang special zone of Shanghai and the smart energy park in Shantou, Guangdong Province. The Lin-kang project was recognized as one of China’s first 52 national zero-carbon parks and the only one in Shanghai, emphasizing Shanghai Electric's role in the planning, construction, and operational deployment of integrated zero-carbon systems for advanced manufacturing sectors.
