Marriott's Luxury Dining Series Returns with 'Forgotten Flavors' in 2025

Rediscovering Culinary Roots with Marriott's Luxury Group

The Luxury Group by Marriott International is thrilled to announce the comeback of its luxurious dining series for 2025, titled 'Forgotten Flavors.' After the successful launch last year, this exquisite gastronomic journey will span multiple cities across the Asia-Pacific region from July to September.

The series will feature prominent luxury hotels such as The St. Regis Osaka, JW Marriott Jeju Resort & Spa, and The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok, among others. Renowned chefs and mixologists from Marriott's global network will collaborate to create meticulously crafted dining experiences centered on ancient, almost forgotten ingredients.

A Culinary Showcase across Regions

Each participating hotel will present unique culinary events celebrating local culture and cuisine. The first stop, Japan, will kick off the series at The St. Regis Osaka from July 11-13, with a remarkable collaboration featuring Chef Takato Kitano partnered with Master Teppan Chef Yuki Oe. Both chefs will showcase the essence of Japanese produce while intertwining their expertise in heirloom vegetables and pristine seafood. This is just the beginning of an exquisite lineup emphasizing a blend of heritage and modern culinary techniques.

In Korea, from July 17-20 at the JW Marriott Jeju Resort & Spa, the vibrant local flavors will shine through an inspiring Six-Hands dinner. With talented chefs from renowned establishments, they will present a contemporary tasting menu highlighting Jeju’s seafood bounty interlaced with traditional cooking methods.

India will follow from July 31 to August 3 at JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa, where an invitation to a night of indulgence includes authentic Indian flavors crafted by Chef Riyaz Ahmed. Adding an ambiance of whimsy, Chef Neeraj Rawoot will offer a farm-to-table experience themed after Alice in Wonderland, ensuring a truly immersive dining affair.

Fusing Elements of Different Culinary Traditions

Australia's turn comes on August 15-17 at The Ritz-Carlton, Perth, where a collaboration between Chef Brian Cole and Chef Katsuhito Inoue will offer a memorable East Meets West dinner. This event will incorporate open-fire cooking alongside the sophisticated art of kaiseki cuisine, while celebrating local produce in a multi-course feast.

In Singapore, The St. Regis will deliver an outstanding Four-Hands Cantonese menu featuring Chef Chan Chung Shing and Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Wong, who will navigate the revival of indigenous ingredients in new interpretations.

For those looking for a memorable experience in Indonesia, The St. Regis Jakarta will present spectacular confections by renowned Pastry Chef Janice Wong, alongside immersive dining led by Chef Arne Riehn from IGNIV Bangkok and vibrant interpretations of local dishes by Chef Almatino Gabriel Ibrata.

Concluding in Thailand with Culinary Mastery

The series will conclude on September 25-28 at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok, where a stunning six-hands dinner will be presented by top culinary talents including Chef Adam Catterall and Chef David Toutain, merging local ingredients with expert culinary artistry.
