The Sapporo-based three-piece rock band, Zookaraderu, has officially unveiled the digital version of their first mini album, 'Live Forever'. Initially available only in CD format since its launch in September 2017, this highly-anticipated digital release makes the album accessible to a broader audience.

In a fresh update for fans, Zookaraderu has included two previously unreleased demo tracks, 'Tadashii Hito (2026)' and 'Furaido Poteto (2026)', which have been newly arranged and recorded, bringing the total number of tracks to seven.

The journey of 'Live Forever' began in September 2017, when the band started selling CDs at live houses in Sapporo. In October of the same year, they uploaded the music video for 'Annie' on YouTube, which quickly gained traction through word of mouth. This initial success led to an expansion of their CD sales beyond Sapporo through THISTIME RECORDS and eventually to all Tower Records locations nationwide. The impact of this album was significant; in 2018, Zookaraderu was honored with the 'Artist of the Year' award at the Tower Records’ Meiko Award, marking it as a pivotal point in their rise to national prominence.

Now available on various streaming services, 'Live Forever' is set to reach an even wider audience. Following that, the band will embark on their first chair-inclusive nationwide tour, 'Zookaraderu Nationwide Chair Tour『Moonstruck』', kicking off in October. The tour will cover eight locations across Japan, starting with Fukuoka on October 24 and wrapping up with performances in Okayama on December 20.

Band Profile

Zookaraderu consists of three talented members: Takashi Yoshida (Guitar & Vocals), Kota Sumi (Bass), and Ryo Yamagishi (Drums). The band was formed in 2015, and they've been captivating audiences since beginning their activities under the name 'Zookaraderu' in 2017. The current formation that fans know today solidified in March 2018.
