On May 30th, 2025, also recognized as '530 (Zero Waste) Day',
Duskyn and
Lawson will conduct a joint cleanup activity in collaboration with the OSAKA Zero Waste Project, championed by the Osaka Prefecture. The event will take place around the Esaka Station area along the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, where both citizens and local businesses are encouraged to participate in keeping their surroundings clean.
Duskyn, headquartered in Suita City, Osaka, and Lawson from Shinagawa, Tokyo, have established a comprehensive partnership agreement with the Osaka Prefecture. This collaboration aims to enhance regional revitalization and improve public services in various fields, including environment, welfare for children, safety, and the promotion of local government. The shared understanding between Duskyn and Lawson is to contribute positively to the community through activities aligned with the OSAKA Zero Waste Project.
This initiative primarily focuses on beautifying the local environment and protecting nature, aiming for all participants to work together in efforts to keep the streets clean. The joint cleaning activity will not only see the involvement of Duskyn and Lawson employees but will also welcome local residents and corporate participants from the Esaka community.
OSAKA Zero Waste Project Overview
The OSAKA Zero Waste Project aims to create a cleaner Osaka by reducing waste ahead of significant events like the Osaka-Kansai Expo in 2025 and the National Conference for Enriching the Sea in 2026. By collaborating with local communities, companies, organizations, and municipalities, the project seeks to promote waste reduction efforts comprehensively throughout the prefecture.
