Ad-Sol Nissin Expands DOCOYA with New Tablet Version for Enhanced Market Analysis

Ad-Sol Nissin Introduces Tablet Version of DOCOYA

Ad-Sol Nissin, based in Minato-ku, Tokyo, has officially launched a tablet version of its market analysis solution, DOCOYA. This comes in addition to the existing PC version, enhancing the capabilities of this comprehensive tool designed for retailers and other businesses that analyze market potential.

Key Features of the New Tablet Version

The release signifies a significant upgrade, allowing current users of the PC version to gain additional functionality with the inclusion of five licenses for the tablet version per every PC license purchased. This means that businesses can now take advantage of field-based data analysis, making it easier for sales teams and management to assess surroundings directly from the field without returning to their offices.

Development Background

First launched in March 2025, DOCOYA leverages years of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology and expertise. It seamlessly combines in-house store and customer data with various external datasets. Additionally, the solution provides real-time demographic insights that capture pedestrian activity based on timeframes and age groups. By December 2025, a version tailored for the restaurant sector, dubbed ‘Restaurant DOCOYA,’ was also introduced. This adaptation has broadened the application's scope within both retail and foodservice environments.

However, in response to increasing requests for an on-site solution that can facilitate in-depth market analysis during physical site visits and assist manufacturers in demonstrating their products to retail partners, Ad-Sol Nissin moved forward with the development of the tablet version.

Product Overview

This new tablet version of DOCOYA is designed as an add-on for the PC version available at an annual license fee of 960,000 yen. Each purchase of a PC license automatically grants five additional tablet licenses, expanding the usability for those in the retail and distribution sectors. The tablet version proves particularly useful during new store openings, site evaluations of existing locations, and in pitch situations for retailers or real estate professionals.

Exhibiting at SoftBank’s Executive Briefing Center

The tablet version of DOCOYA will soon be showcased at SoftBank’s Executive Briefing Center, which caters primarily to corporate clients. The PC variant has already been exhibited since April 2025, underlining its robust features and applications.

Endorsements and Support

Mapbox Japan, known for its mapping solutions, has expressed its support for the tablet version's launch. General Manager Douglas Chucrow highlighted the advantages of transferring high-level GIS analysis from office environments to use in the field, boosting real-time, data-informed decision-making capabilities for sales teams and area managers alike. This mobile-first initiative is viewed as a significant step towards digital transformation across the retail and food industries.

Launch Date

The tablet version of DOCOYA is set to become available starting April 2, 2026. For more information, you can visit the product page at DOCOYA Product Details.
