Dynam Group's Participation in the 10th Local Character Festival in Susaki
On September 13-14, 2025, the city of Susaki in Kochi Prefecture hosted the 10th Local Character Festival, attracting a massive turnout of fans and families. The event features around 90 characters from various regions, brightening the atmosphere with smiles from approximately 30,000 attendees. Among these characters, the official mascot of Dynam Group, Mollyske, made its enthusiastic appearance.
Dynam Group, a prominent operator of pachinko halls across Japan, has participated in this event for the eighth consecutive year. Notably, the event was managed by employees from Dynam's locations in Kochi, including the Kochi Susaki Store, Kochi Tosa Store, and Noichi Store, who took charge of the booth operations. At the Dynam booth, visitors enjoyed free activities such as smart ball games and photo sessions with Mollyske. The character quickly became a favorite among the children and families, enabling the team to engage with about 500 attendees.
This lively festival is recognized as one of the largest local character events in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions, showcasing the importance of local mascots in promoting regional identity and community spirit. The festival not only entertained but also played a role in unifying communities, allowing various characters to share their stories and connect with fans.
The enthusiasm from the attendees was palpable, and so was the feeling of community amongst the characters and their supporters. Dynam Group's presence was well-received, and employees reflected on their rewarding experience interacting with festival-goers. The assistant manager from the Kochi Susaki Store, Miyakawa, mentioned:
"Through booth operations and character greetings, we had the chance to interact with many visitors. It’s gratifying to witness that fans of Mollyske and various local characters recognize Dynam as a pachinko hall operator. This is a testament to our consistent participation in local events over the years. We are committed to continuing our efforts to promote our local community."
Beyond mere entertainment, the event reflects Dynam's mission to foster connections within the community, highlighting their strong engagement with local initiatives. The company continues to emphasize helping to invigorate local areas, aiming to enrich the lives of residents through various events and outreach programs.
The festival also showcased the collaboration between characters, featuring collaborations with local personalities, including Shinjo-kun, a beloved mascot of Susaki city, who posed alongside Mollyske. The atmosphere was vibrant as children and families gathered to participate in activities and take part in the joyous celebrations.
The festival unfolded at Kirima Multipurpose Park, a perfect backdrop for the festivities, welcoming families for two days filled with laughter and memorable experiences. The official Local Character Festival in Susaki Committee and the city of Susaki organized this grand event, ensuring it catered well to the community while providing entertainment and joy for attendees.
By continuing to engage in local events, Dynam Group reaffirms its commitment to making pachinko a casual and enjoyable part of everyday life.
