SF Carnival 2025 at Daikanyama Tsutaya
On April 26 and 27, 2025, Daikanyama Tsutaya in Shibuya, Tokyo, will host the highly anticipated SF Carnival in collaboration with the Japan SF Writers Club. This unique festival will bring together approximately 30 renowned science fiction authors and enthusiasts for a celebration of all things sci-fi.
Author Signings
One of the festival's highlights includes signing sessions featuring 30 science fiction writers. Fans will have the opportunity to meet authors and get their books or merch signed. The signings will take place outdoors at Daikanyama Tsutaya, and no prior reservations are necessary. The signing schedule for each day is as follows:

Talk Events
The festival will also feature six talk events, including discussions where female SF authors from Japan and Korea share their writing challenges and worldviews. They will also speak about the anthology series "Weird Collection" with the supervising author and participating writers. These events will take place in the event space on the 2nd floor of Daikanyama Tsutaya's third building.

Moriizumi Gakuto Solaris Original Artwork Exhibition
In celebration of the release of the Hayakawa Comics version of "Solaris (Parts 1 & 2)," an exhibition showcasing original artworks by Gakuto Moriizumi will be held. This is a great chance to experience the intricate world of Solaris through detailed illustrations.
