Spectee Selected as a Finalist for the Inaugural PeaceTech Award
On May 19, 2025, the first-ever PeaceTech Award will take place at SHIBUYA QWS, and it has been announced that Spectee, a disaster tech startup based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, will be among the top ten finalists in the Crisis Management category. The company's Chief Operating Officer for international business, Negoro, will participate in the final judging.
About the PeaceTech Award
The PeaceTech Award is managed by the International Peace Base Hiroshima and the Tokyo Community, and it is supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). This award aims to discover startups and businesses tackling fundamental social issues that hinder peace using digital technologies. By recognizing these ventures, the PeaceTech Award seeks to open new avenues for social impact both domestically and abroad while fostering a new peace tech industry within Japan.
