Terrabis Introduces McHenry County's First Drive-Thru Dispensary in Woodstock
Terrabis, one of the premier multi-state cannabis operators, is planning to unveil McHenry County's very first dispensary drive-thru at its location in Woodstock before the month ends. This initiative takes place shortly after the company launched Illinois' inaugural dual-window dispensary drive-thru in Grayville, marking a significant advancement in cannabis accessibility within the state.
The new Woodstock drive-thru is designed to provide customers with a streamlined and convenient method to collect their online orders without having to exit their vehicles. Operating hours will extend from 6 AM to midnight on Sundays and Mondays, while from Tuesday to Saturday the service will be available until 2 AM.
Dan Ambrosino, CEO of Terrabis, emphasized the company's customer-centric approach, stating, "Everything we do starts with the customer. A drive-thru offers the most convenient way for someone to pick up an order. We’ve invested years in developing drive-thru operations that are efficient, and we are excited to bring that expertise to Woodstock and McHenry County."
Cooperation from local officials played an instrumental role in the development of this project. Mayor Turner, alongside the City Council, and the planning department have been pivotal in facilitating the necessary approvals. Ambrosino expressed gratitude for their support, noting, "Woodstock has genuinely collaborated with us from the onset, and that is why we choose to continually invest in this community."
Since its establishment, Terrabis has made it a priority to hire locally and contribute to community initiatives. Among its sponsorships are events such as Woodstock PrideFest, Pins Fur Paws animal welfare benefit at Kingston Lanes, and the Lighting of the Square. Earlier this year, the company also sponsored Groundhog Days and PrideFest, while upcoming contributions include a sponsorship for the Midwest Fall Fest on September 19 and renewed support for the Lighting of the Square in December.
The Woodstock location will represent Terrabis' second Illinois drive-thru, within the span of just a month. For years, the company has successfully operated drive-thru services in Missouri, beginning in O'Fallon and Springfield. Earlier this year, the O'Fallon location transitioned to provide 24-hour service, accessible seven days a week. To date, Terrabis has completed over 500,000 drive-thru transactions across its Missouri locations, solidifying its status as a leading dispensary drive-thru operator nationwide.
With five dispensaries in Illinois fully outfitted for drive-thru operations, the recent Grayville facility has opened its doors, and Woodstock is expected to follow soon. The remaining sites are currently awaiting final local approvals.
Terrabis Woodstock will be located at 601 S Eastwood Dr, Woodstock, IL 60098. As a key player in the cannabis industry, Terrabis maintains a corporate office in Chicago while offering premium cannabis products that provide a unique dispensary experience. Importantly, the company remains committed to creating a positive impact on the communities they serve. For more information about Terrabis and their offerings, visit
