InterVenn Biosciences and Aranscia Enhance Partnership for Advanced Ovarian Cancer Diagnostics

An Expanded Partnership in Ovarian Cancer Diagnostics

InterVenn Biosciences and Aranscia have announced a significant expansion of their commercialization partnership aimed at enhancing accessibility to InterVenn’s cutting-edge GlycoKnow™ ovarian cancer diagnostic test. This collaboration seeks to sharpen the focus on women's health by bolstering the capabilities and availability of diagnostic tools crucial for timely interventions in ovarian cancer cases.

A Closer Look at GlycoKnow™ Ovarian

The GlycoKnow™ Ovarian test is a proprietary liquid biopsy that assesses serum glycopeptides through a non-invasive blood draw. This test is designed to help clinicians differentiate between benign pelvic masses and malignant ovarian tumors, providing critical insights that can alter the course of treatment. Given that 80% of pelvic masses are benign, this test is poised to significantly improve risk stratification and surgical decision-making by giving medical professionals the urgency and data they need to act decisively.

As a laboratory-developed test (LDT), GlycoKnow Ovarian is intended for women 18 years and older facing the possibility of surgical intervention due to documented pelvic or adnexal masses. It is essential to note that while the test plays a vital role in clinical decision-making, it does not replace standard radiological evaluations and is not designed for general population screenings.

Partnership with Aranscia: Key Features and Benefits

The previous multi-year partnership between InterVenn and Aranscia already integrated Aranscia's advanced clinical workflow software solutions like Spesana and 2bPrecise, which are critical for streamlining the commercialization of GlycoKnow Ovarian. The recent expansion aims to tap into Aranscia’s extensive network of health systems and oncology groups to ensure that more clinicians can benefit from this innovative test.

Andrew Quong, CEO of InterVenn, stated, “We’re pleased to reach these milestones with the Aranscia team. Their understanding of clinical workflows is instrumental in minimizing obstacles that physicians face, making it easier to adopt new diagnostics.
