Higer Bus Launches Its First European Parts Supply and Service Center in Luxembourg

Higer Bus Expands Reach with New European Center

On July 7, 2025, Higer Bus inaugurated its first European parts supply and service center in Luxembourg, a significant step in strengthening its presence in the continent. The opening ceremony was attended by notable figures including Hua Ning, the Chinese Ambassador to Luxembourg, and Lex Delles, the Luxembourg Minister of Economy, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Energy, and Tourism.

Minister Delles expressed excitement over Higer Bus’s decision to establish this center in Luxembourg, which he described as the "crossroads of Europe." This strategic location is expected to facilitate quicker delivery of parts, thereby improving customer service reliability across Europe. The center promises to be stocked with a comprehensive range of bus-related spare parts, catering to various operational needs and ensuring minimal downtime for bus operators.

This new hub is a result of a strong collaborative effort between Chinese and Luxembourg companies, marking a milestone in international partnerships in the transportation sector. During the ceremony, Minister Delles and other officials also took the opportunity to test ride one of Higer’s electric buses, showcasing the innovative technology and design that the company offers.

In the latter part of 2024, Minister Delles led a government delegation to Higer Bus, witnessing the delivery of a fleet of electric buses, particularly models from the Azure series. These buses are engineered to meet the evolving needs of urban transportation, being equipped with state-of-the-art energy technology and smart manufacturing processes.

Higer Bus’s electric vehicles blend advanced features with environmentally conscious designs, effectively aligning with Europe’s low-carbon initiatives. Additionally, the buses address practical requirements for older European cities, aiming to expand public transport networks and enhance electrification efforts. With various lengths and customizable seating arrangements, the Azure buses are designed for diverse operational scenarios, including urban mainlines, suburban routes, and shuttle services.

Currently, 11 Higer buses are operational in Luxembourg, primarily serving intercity routes. Feedback from local commuters has been overwhelmingly positive, citing stability and comfort as major benefits of these vehicles. The quiet operation typical of electric buses has further enhanced the travel experience, indicating strong community support for sustainable transportation options.

Higer Bus’s commitment to quality service and sustainable transport solutions is apparent through this new center, which not only amplifies their operational capabilities but also reinforces Luxembourg's role as a key player in the European transport ecosystem. As the demand for electric and efficient public transport rises, Higer Bus is poised to significantly contribute to the future of urban mobility in the region.
