Exciting Family Financial Education Event
This summer, a unique workshop titled "Future-Connected Money Workshop" will take place on
August 26, 2026, at the
Mizuho Marunouchi Tower. Hosted by
Mizuho Financial Group,
Mizuho Bank, and
J-FLEC (Financial Economic Education Promotion Organization) in collaboration with the
Japan Children's Resilience Development Association, this event aims to promote financial education among families.
Targeting elementary school children in grades 4-6 and their parents, the workshop offers an extraordinary opportunity to learn about financial literacy in a fun and interactive manner. The goal is to encourage families to engage in discussions about money at home.

Program Highlights
1.
Separate Learning Tracks for Parents and Kids!
The children will dive into the magical world of finance in a session called "Mizuho's Money Fantasia: Learning About Money in a Magical Land." Using iPads linked to the instructor's devices, they will engage in fun quizzes about recognizing needs versus wants, understanding cashless payment options, and learning about responsible spending and investing.
Meanwhile, parents will participate in a special seminar by J-FLEC focused on essential financial knowledge from household budgeting to asset formation tailored for the parenting generation.
2.
Experience Investing Together as a Family!
Families will utilize the knowledge acquired in the first session to join the "Kids Investment Challenge," a simulated investment game where they can support their favorite local businesses and understand the fundamentals of investing.
3.
Certification Ceremony and Photo Opportunity
Every participating child will receive a "Money Master Certification" and take part in a commemorative group photo.
