UMAGE Unveils Its Presence in Japan

The renowned Danish furniture and lighting brand, UMAGE, has officially launched its Japanese website, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion. Founded in 2008 and situated along the scenic waterfront of Havnegade in Copenhagen, UMAGE is celebrated for its unique aesthetic that combines natural wood materials with a fresh palette, enhanced by original recycled fabrics.

Partnering with IL DESIGN as its official distributor, UMAGE's journey in Japan began with a successful business meeting during Denmark's largest furniture festival, 3daysofdesign in June 2024. This partnership allowed UMAGE to introduce its distinctive furniture and lighting designs to the Japanese market, culminating in the launch of its Japanese website at the end of 2025.

Furniture Launch at Tokyo Design Center

The showcase of UMAGE's offerings is currently taking place on the 6th floor of the Tokyo Design Center, where the brand's furniture and lighting designs are on display. Among the highlights is the furniture line, making its debut in Japan. Below are several featured products:
