Profile of Maho Ushiku


Born on April 21, 1992, in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, Ushiku has an impressive background. She initially played for Tsukuba FC Ladies before becoming a member of the JICA overseas cooperation team in Laos, where she worked as a physical education teacher at an elementary school. Unfortunately, she had to return to Japan in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and discovered her passion for beach soccer during her stay. Currently, she plays in both Japan and Spain and is dedicated to promoting beach soccer among women in Japan.

In addition to her sporting career, Ushiku works at an after-school day service for children with developmental disorders and teaches both women's and disability soccer.

Playing Career


  • - Soccer: Played at Toho Beryl at Musashi Junior College and later at Tsukuba FC Ladies.
  • - Beach Soccer: Has represented SONNE KAMOGAWA B.S. and Tokyo Verdy Praiana BS, and currently plays for Casereno Feminino in Spain and Dorsore Fukuoka Venus.
  • - Selected for the Japan Women's National Training Camp for 2024 and won regional cups.
