The improvements have been validated by independent tests conducted by TÜV, a well-respected testing authority in Europe.

One of the standout features of Snoways 5 is its reduced rolling resistance, which not only helps in driving efficiency but also contributes to lower fuel consumption. TÜV SÜD confirmed that Snoways 5 surpasses the average competitor performance in critical metrics such as snow acceleration, braking on snow, lateral grip in snowy conditions, aquaplaning resistance, and wet braking.

In specific terms, the new model showcases a 4% improvement in aquaplaning performance, along with a 3% enhancement in both snow acceleration and lateral grip on snowy surfaces. Through these advancements, the Snoways 5 not only meets but exceeds the expectations for a modern winter tyre.

Competus Winter 3: SUV Focused Design

As SUVs continue to dominate market preferences, the Competus Winter 3 has been tailored specifically for these larger vehicles. It borrows the pattern design and technical innovations from Snoways 5, ensuring that SUV drivers also benefit from top-tier performance in severe winter weather.

This model boasts a strong braking capability, delivering stability and control when driving on snowy or wet roads. With next-generation winter technology employed in its design, Competus Winter 3 provides drivers with enhanced snow performance and improved wet-weather handling. Expanding Size Options

With the rising trend of larger rim sizes linked to the escalating SUV market, Lassa has responded by increasing its winter tyre range significantly. The Snoways 5 is offered in 46 sizes ranging from 15 to 21 inches, while the Competus Winter 3 is available in 42 sizes from 16 to 21 inches.

Such an expansion means that Lassa now covers 84% of the winter tyre fitments for European passenger cars and SUVs, with a remarkable 75% fitment coverage for tyres sized 18 inches and above. This broad availability ensures that more drivers can access high-quality winter tyres, no matter their vehicle type.
