What is FootGolf?

Footgolf is a newer sport that merges the thrills of soccer and golf. Players navigate 9 or 18 holes on a golf course using a size 5 soccer ball, kicking it into larger holes that are designed for footgolf. It became an organized sport in 2009 in the Netherlands, quickly spreading globally. The first FootGolf World Cup took place in 2012 in Hungary, showcasing already over 60 countries embracing this sport.

With over 600 dedicated courses in the United States and about 30 in Japan, the sport is gaining traction, aiming for recognition as an Olympic event in the future.
