From January to June 2026, participants will gain the necessary skills to finish an English pitch for their original project. An internal selection process will identify five finalists, who will then pitch their projects at the Cannes Film Festival, held alongside the 'Marché du Film', where Japan has been chosen as the 'Country of Honour'. This offers a rare opportunity for the spotlight on Japanese cinema as a global player.
