Global Unity at the 2025 Hainan Marathon
On December 28, 2025, the picturesque city of Sanya in China played host to the 7th Hainan (Sanya) Marathon. Kicking off at 7:00 a.m. local time from the South Gate of the Sanya Beauty Crown, this prestigious event welcomed a remarkable 14,000 runners from 19 different countries and regions. The participation not only showcased international talent but also included athletes from all corners of China, with nearly 68% of attendees traveling from outside the Hainan Free Trade Port.
A Scenic Race Course
The marathon retained its iconic course design, commencing at the vibrant South Gate and culminating at the lush Sanya Bay Coastal Park for full marathon runners, while half marathon participants concluded their race at the breathtaking Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area.
