Enroll in the Innovator Training Academy 2027

The AFJ Japan Agricultural Management School, operated by the general incorporated association AgriFuture Japan, has officially started the application process for the 2027 enrollment in its Innovator Training Academy. This program aims to develop skills in individuals seeking to challenge themselves in entrepreneurship and new business development, providing a robust curriculum tailored for agri-business innovation.

A Unique Mentoring Experience

The academy offers mentoring from current entrepreneurs and consultants, with additional support from industry experts in agriculture, trade, and academia. With the collaboration of over 200 member associations, the academy creates unprecedented value and works towards practical implementation of new ideas in society.

Addressing Structural Challenges in Agriculture

Japan's agricultural sector faces various challenges, including labor shortages and an aging population, alongside structural issues across the entire food value chain such as distribution, trade practices, supply-demand imbalances, and delayed data utilization. In response, the academy has designed a unique curriculum focused on turning these obstacles into opportunities, incorporating insights from IT and digital transformation to foster innovative business models.

Even those without previous experience in agriculture can benefit, thanks to the academy’s extensive network that facilitates dialogue and experimentation, transforming ideas into sustainable business plans through a supportive learning environment.

Fully Online Learning Experience Starting 2027

Starting in 2027, all lectures, including those previously held in person, will be available online, allowing applicants from all over the country to participate without restrictions based on residency or workplace. However, the entrance ceremony, final presentations, and graduation ceremony will still be held on-site. This change paves the way for more diverse individuals from various industries to take part in this innovative educational journey.
