BPIO to Showcase Innovative Solutions at FIT Osaka 2026 for Financial Institutions

BPIO to Present at FIT Osaka 2026

BPIO, a leader in outsourcing services for finance, labor, and general administration, is set to participate in the upcoming FIT Osaka 2026, a prominent exhibition for financial institutions, taking place on September 3 and 4, 2026, at Grand Front Osaka. This event is organized by the Japan Financial Communications Association and expects a wealth of industry professionals. At their booth, BPIO will spotlight their unique service, AI-BPaaS, which integrates support from both artificial intelligence and human expertise. The company aims to tackle challenges in accounting and labor for their client companies, ultimately positioning them as a new revenue source for financial institutions.

In addition to their exhibition, on September 4th, BPIO's CEO, Yuuki Ichisugi, will co-host a seminar with Takuya Maeda, the President of CCIForward. The seminar will delve into the implications of recent supervisory guidelines for local financial institutions, especially focusing on digital transformation (DX) and business process outsourcing (BPO) related to accounting and labor. The objective is to explore how these institutions can leverage these guidelines to provide additional support to their client companies.

Background for Participation

The pressures of demographic changes such as labor shortages, aging populations, and the retirement of key personnel have led to increased specialization in accounting and labor operations within regional firms. This has created continuity risks that regional financial institutions are increasingly keen to address. The Financial Services Agency's announcement of the Regional Financial Strengthening Plan in December 2025, alongside reforms to the supervisory guidelines that came into effect in April 2026, are driving these institutions to redefine their roles in supporting their client businesses.

BPIO aims to present their innovative co-creation model centered around AI-BPaaS at the exhibition, addressing both the challenges faced by regional businesses and the evolving requirements of financial institutions.

Featured Solutions at the Booth

The showcased AI-BPaaS service combines AI with human oversight to ensure seamless operations from business design through to ongoing maintenance and enhancements. BPIO will illustrate how this partnership can transform challenges faced by accounting and labor sectors into new revenue opportunities for regional financial institutions. Since its inception, BPIO has supported over 200 companies in various operational capacities ranging from business process outsourcing to standardization and in-house training.

As a part of the CCI group, BPIO’s endeavors have expanded through collaborative initiatives, including the establishment of CCIForward, a joint venture with Money Forward that aims to enhance support for regional financial institutions.

Overview of the Seminar

On September 4, during the second day of the event, BPIO and CCIForward will host a seminar titled, “Best Practices in Post-Guideline Reform: Local Financial Institutions Taking on DX and BPO.” This session will address the significance of regional financial institutions embracing client company DX support and engaging in outsourced accounting services as strategic pillars.

Takuya Maeda, who transitioned to represent CCIForward in May 2025 after an extensive career in corporate sales at Hokkokubank, and Yuuki Ichisugi from BPIO, who will provide insights based on real-world examples, will lead the discussions. Key topics will encompass not just the introduction of software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions or manpower augmentation, but also systemic elements like business design, standardization, workforce recruitment and training, quality management, and conditions necessary for achieving profitability.

Additionally, they will discuss the practical challenges faced during the startup phase, from customer acquisition to optimizing operations, as well as the success factors that balance regional corporate support with non-interest revenues.
