DJI Agriculture Showcases Latest Drones at Agritechnica 2025 in Hannover
DJI Agriculture has officially announced the unveiling of its eagerly anticipated drone models — the DJI Agras T100, DJI Agras T70P, and DJI Agras T25P. These groundbreaking agricultural drones are set to enhance efficiency and safety within the farming sector, offering state-of-the-art capabilities for spraying, spreading, and lifting tasks.
Scheduled to be showcased at Agritechnica 2025 in Hannover from November 9 to November 15, these models promise to revolutionize modern agriculture. The evolution of the Agras series comes after 13 years of intense research and development, resulting in drones that not only offer superior payload capabilities but also improved operational efficiency.
The Agras T100: Built for Large-scale Farming
The DJI Agras T100 is particularly designed for large-scale commercial growers, capable of carrying a maximum payload of 100 liters for spraying, 150 liters for spreading, and 80 kg for lifting tasks. Compared to its predecessor, the Agras T100 boasts double the spray efficiency and faster spreading capabilities. It features an advanced safety system, including LiDAR, millimeter-wave radar, and a Penta-Vision system, ensuring intelligent operation. With standard dual nozzle spray nozzles, it achieves a flow rate of 30 liters per minute, which increases to 40 liters per minute with an optional four-nozzle kit. The new spreader system doubles payload capacity and boosts flow rates by 270%.
Agras T70P: Enhanced Operational Efficiency
The Agras T70P presents several improvements aimed at enhancing operational output for farmers. Its maximum payload is 70 liters for spraying, 100 liters for spreading, and 65 kg for lifting. This drone matches the T100 in both flow rates and droplet size, with a new spreading system and lifting mechanism for better performance. The T70P is equipped with Safety System 3.0, featuring millimeter-wave radar and a Tri-Vision system for obstacle detection. These technologies ensure smarter route selection and significantly improved obstacle avoidance.
Agras T25P: Compact and Flexible Design
For those seeking a more compact solution, the Agras T25P retains the foldable structure of its predecessor while featuring a highly precise 4.0 spreading system capable of handling 25 kg. It can effectively spray 20 kg with a flow rate of 16 liters per minute, with droplet sizes ranging from 50 to 500 μm. This model is ideal for solo operations, as it is easy to transport, set up, and operate fully automatically for aerial mapping and crop protection tasks.
This drone can be programmed for tasks like field surveys and continuous spraying over multiple plots.
Training Program for Drone Operators
In addition to the new drones, DJI Agriculture is expanding its official training program through DJI Academy in Europe. This program aims to provide new operators with the skills necessary for effective drone operation, focusing on crop protection and precise spreading techniques. Course materials will be regularly updated to reflect the latest technical skills and product capabilities, ensuring pilots are well-versed in the newest agricultural technologies.
