H.I.G. Capital Welcomes Younghee Choi as Head of Asia
In a strategic move to enhance its presence in the Asian markets, H.I.G. Capital, a leading global alternative investment firm managing approximately $75 billion in capital, has announced the appointment of Younghee Choi as the Head of Asia for its Capital Formation Group. Based in Hong Kong, Younghee will oversee capital formation activities across H.I.G.'s global private equity, credit, and real assets platforms in the region.
With over 15 years in capital formation and private markets, Younghee joins H.I.G. from Blackstone where she held senior positions within the Institutional Client Solutions and Private Wealth divisions, serving as a Senior Managing Director and Head of Korea ICS. Throughout her tenure at Blackstone, she successfully established and expanded relationships with a wide array of prestigious institutional investors, while playing a pivotal role in developing fundraising initiatives targeting high-net-worth individuals in Korea.
