Winston Justice Steps Up as CEO of SageSpring Wealth Partners Amidst Expansion Efforts

Winston Justice Takes the Helm at SageSpring Wealth Partners

SageSpring Wealth Partners has made headlines recently with the announcement of Winston Justice as the new CEO of its private wealth division. This appointment marks a strategic move for the independent wealth management firm as it positions itself to expand its services in high-net-worth advisory, alternative investments, and multi-family office solutions.

Justice, who previously played as an offensive lineman in the NFL, brings not only his sports achievements but significant financial expertise to this leadership role. His diverse background combines a unique perspective crafted through experiences as an athlete, entrepreneur, and financial professional. Jeff Dobyns, the founder and president of SageSpring, expressed confidence in Justice’s ability to lead the firm into its next growth phase. He stated, "Winston's diverse background in professional sports, entrepreneurship, and wealth management makes him the ideal leader to drive SageSpring's next phase of growth."

A Journey from the NFL to Wealth Management

Before his transition into the financial world, Justice had a successful NFL career and later co-founded Elixr Coffee, a prominent specialty coffee brand in Philadelphia. This venture showcased his entrepreneurial spirit, as did his collaboration with former NBA player Jamal Mashburn to establish a venture capital fund focusing on healthcare and education. These experiences have equipped Justice with strategic and operational skills essential for wealth management, which he plans to leverage at SageSpring.

In his last position before joining SageSpring, Justice was a vice president at AllianceBernstein where he managed assets for various high-net-worth clients, including multigenerational family offices and nonprofits. His previous roles at Wells Fargo Securities and PIA's Alternative Investments Group further solidify his experience in asset management and investment strategies.

Future Plans at SageSpring

In his new role, Justice is expected to spearhead several strategic initiatives aimed at broadening SageSpring's advisory platform. One of his primary objectives is to develop alternative investment solutions that cater to a wider array of client needs. Additionally, he plans to launch new verticals for multi-family office and institutional services, signifying a comprehensive approach to wealth management.

Justice expressed enthusiasm about his new position, stating, "I'm honored to join SageSpring and lead the Private Wealth business for the firm. Our focus will be on enhancing our advisory platform, developing specialized investment solutions, and expanding our reach to better serve our clients' evolving needs."
