Their previous success with their Ankeny location, launched in May 2025, marked the beginning of their Texas-Mexico venture.

Sonal’s background in accounting and business operations serves as a strong foundation for the restaurant. Her love for entrepreneurship and commitment to community development drive her passion for helping small businesses thrive. Amit adds to the team’s experience with his background in the Florida convenience store industry and a successful hotel venture in Ames.

Vishal, a resident of Ankeny since 2014, brings business development expertise from multiple industries, including healthcare and hospitality. His enthusiasm for Mexican cuisine and his aptitude in business make him a valuable asset in driving the brand’s growth.

"We intend to deliver real Tex-Mex flavors to Des Moines," says Sonal. "At all our locations, we emphasize great service and fresh ingredients while ensuring generous portions at a reasonable price. We take pride in contributing to the community’s dining scene with quality experiences."
