In her own words about Mebaru, she shared:

"The moment she arrived, she acted as if she had always been a part of the family. I’ve never known a cat so composed and caring. Whenever I bumped my foot against the furniture, she rushed to my side to check if I was okay."

This sentiment reflects the special bond between humans and their pets, which MEBARU encapsulates beautifully within her stories.

To celebrate the release of "Chicchana Nekotachi no Oru Suban", a special panel exhibition is scheduled from August 13 to August 31, 2025, at the Junbun-do Bookstore in Ikebukuro. Visitors can not only enjoy selected A2 panels displaying photos from the book but also see actual wool felt cat creations on display. In an exciting twist, miniature versions of MEBARU's felt cat creations will be available for a lucky draw sale.
