Cybersecurity Symposium at Tokyo Denki University 2026
On March 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM JST, the Cybersecurity Symposium in TDU 2026 will convene at the Tokyo Denki University (TDU) in Adachi, Tokyo. This event, which is free of charge, will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participants to join both in-person at the Tokyo Senju Campus and via an online Zoom webinar.
Event Overview
Tokyo Denki University, under the leadership of President Tadahiko Ibamoton, has made significant strides in cultivating cybersecurity professionals. Since introducing the special course in international cybersecurity studies (CySec) in 2015, and further expanding with the CySec Expert program in 2025, the institution has been at the forefront of cybersecurity education. The success of these initiatives was recognized when the CySec program won the prestigious Japan Security Award 2025 in the talent development category.
The symposium aims to showcase the ongoing efforts of TDU's faculty and researchers in developing cybersecurity talent.
Renowned speakers from CoWorker, Kazuki Yamazato and Tatsuya Ito, will discuss the latest trends in cybersecurity, particularly focusing on how AI is accelerating cyberattacks and the corresponding defense strategies.
In addition to these keynote speeches, a panel discussion with guest speakers and TDU faculty will take place, providing insights into cybersecurity resilience and the evolving landscape of the field.
