Celebrating Community and Connections at Pathways LA's Winter Wonderland Event
On December 6, 2025, Pathways LA proudly hosted its annual Winter Wonderland Toy & Book Celebration, welcoming over 900 attendees to the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles. This cherished event turned the venue into a festive gathering space for families, drawing support from community partners, generous donors, and advocates dedicated to uplifting families during the holiday season.
This year's celebration included 240 families, with a total of 930 participants, comprising 394 adults and 536 children. The event also showcased the commitment to family well-being by hosting representatives from six community organizations, further enriching the experience for attendees. Notable partners included:
- - LA Care Metro Community Resource Center
- - Los Angeles Public Library
- - Clinica M Oscar A. Romero
- - Bright Life Kids
- - St. Anne Family Services
- - Karsh Center
"Winter Wonderland is one of the most significant moments of the year for our organization," said Tamika Farr, Executive Director of Pathways LA. "It reflects our commitment to support families and ensures that every child experiences joy, connection, and care during the holidays."
At the heart of the Winter Wonderland event lies the spirit of giving. This year, Pathways LA proudly distributed toys and books to hundreds of children, along with essential home items to promote family stability. Families received diapers, wipes, hygiene products, and much-needed clothing.
Pathways LA extends its sincere gratitude to the generous sponsors and donors who made this support possible:
- - Baby2Baby
- - FAT BRANDS
- - Social media influencer Francisco Carrillo (@kennalovescisco)
Their contributions ensured that children received high-quality gifts and that families had access to vital resources that would carry them beyond the holiday season.
Attendees reveled in a variety of seasonal activities, including:
- - Photos and meet-and-greets with Santa
- - Festive face painting
- - Craft stations for creating holiday memorabilia
- - Warm mugs of hot cocoa and freshly baked cookies to sweeten the day
For decades, Pathways LA has been dedicated to providing early childhood education programs, family services, and essential resources to low-income working families. The Winter Wonderland Toy & Book Celebration continues this mission, delivering hope, support, and joy to the community each holiday season.
