Huawei FusionSolar Hosts Successful Global Installer Summit to Foster Collaboration and Future Innovations

Huawei FusionSolar recently hosted its 3rd Global Installer Summit from June 16 to June 19, 2025, at the Sanyapo Campus in Dongguan, China. This prestigious event brought together partners and leading installers from diverse regions, including Europe, the Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. Attendees engaged deeply with market trends in photovoltaic (PV) systems and energy storage solutions (ESS), sharing insights on installer strategies, success stories, and marketing approaches to collaboratively shape the future of the decentralised energy market.

The summit commenced with a welcoming speech by Charles Yang, Senior Vice President of Huawei and President of Huawei Digital Power Global Marketing, Sales and Services. In his address titled "Staying Customer-Centric: Huawei's Culture and Core Values," Yang emphasized the importance of strong partnerships in achieving success within the global green energy sector represented by solar power and ESS. He reiterated Huawei Digital Power's commitment to digitalization, intelligence, and decarbonization, advocating for collaboration with global partners and clients to build a greener and more sustainable future.

Following Yang's introduction, Sun Xiaofeng, President of Huawei Digital Power Smart PV ESS Marketing and Sales Service, addressed the participants on the theme of "Building a Sustainable Future Together." He highlighted the pivotal role of renewable energy in the new energy systems focusing on generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption, and urged participants to aim for full commercialization across various scenarios. Wang Wenyuan, Chief Engineer of Huawei FusionSolar Smart PV Management Systems, presented "SmartDesign: From Concept to Business Plan in 10 Minutes," introducing an efficient online design tool that assists installers in developing owner solutions, including standardized designs and device selections. This innovative tool reduces the need for physical site visits, allowing installers to finalize designs nearly instantly, which bolsters efficiency and enhances the communication experience between owners and installers.

The summit also featured a presentation from Antonio Jiang, Senior Digital Architect at Huawei Digital Power CRM, who showcased a one-stop digital platform designed for installers. This comprehensive service hub offers numerous resources, including company registration, marketing support, incentive programs, training, and technical assistance. The platform, developed through collaboration with field teams and partners, aims to address installers' needs and enhance their operational capabilities.

In an insightful address, Allen Zeng, President of Huawei Digital Power Global Technical Service Operations, discussed the essential support systems Huawei has put in place to aid installers. He outlined key market trends, including stricter safety requirements and significant capacities installed, and reaffirmed Huawei's commitment to assist installers through exemplary service quality and strategic foresight. The aim is to simplify installation and maintenance tasks while providing professional and intelligent services for long-term profitability.

Wang Xiao, Technical Director at Huawei Digital Power Global Residential PV Sales Service, focused on solution value and continuous support in enhancing installers' success in the residential sector. He emphasized that product solution value delivery is key to driving growth potentials in the residential market, stating that Huawei's solutions will evolve to integrate third-party ecosystems for added value.

Jack Tong, President of Huawei Digital Power Global CI PV Sales Service, concluded the summit with innovative updates on the "One-Fits-All" solution for the commercial and industrial sector, presenting the industry's first 215 kWh Smart Hybrid Cooling ESS, which obtained accolades for safety and efficiency. This innovative approach, he highlighted, is designed to foster sustainable practices across varied industries while ensuring profitability and enhanced safety.
