TOKYO PACK 2026, which will take place from October 14 to October 16, 2026, at the Tokyo Big Sight. This esteemed event highlights revolutionary advancements in packaging technology, with a focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
A Vision for a Sustainable Future
With the tagline
"From Wrapping to Connection, a Kind Future", Kanai's booth (Hall 1R28) will display a diverse range of products spanning various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, daily necessities, and medical devices. The company emphasizes its commitment to creating packaging solutions that not only meet market needs but also contribute to a circular economy.
Featured Exhibits
Here’s a glimpse of some notable products that Kanai will present:
Monomaterial Packaging
Often disposed of through incineration, conventional packaging typically has a significant environmental impact. In contrast, Kanai introduces
monomaterial packaging, designed to enhance recyclability and support a sustainable society. Below are a few highlights:
- - Monomaterial PTP (Under Development): This packaging for the pharmaceutical sector avoids the use of aluminum foil, utilizing a specially processed OPP film for the lid and CPP sheet for formation. It has achieved a 98% recyclability certification from the Institute Cyclos-HTP.
- - Monomaterial Portion for Cosmetics: A peel-open blister made from polyolefin-based single material for both lid and container, this product boasts a 100% recyclability certification from the Institute Cyclos-HTP.
- - Monomaterial Sterilization Bag: This bag, crafted from polyethylene single material and a unique non-woven fabric, has also received a 100% recyclability certification from the Institute Cyclos-HTP. This innovation is crucial for healthcare applications where sterilization integrity is paramount.
Innovative Stand-Up Pouch
One of the standout developments is the
Small Spout-Equipped Stand-Up Pouch (Under Development). This pouches allows for resealable use, making it a convenient option for smaller capacities. The design of the spout can be tailored to meet specific application needs, enhancing usability while promoting recycling.
Cosmo Pack Series
The
Cosmo Pack Series showcases a variety of original 3D-shaped packaging solutions that not only protect contents from moisture, oxygen, and light but also offer high display effectiveness. This series reflects Kanai's focus on innovation and aesthetics in packaging design.
Beyond these products, Kanai will also showcase numerous eco-friendly packaging options made from paper, recycled materials, and biomass materials, highlighting their commitment to environmental responsibility.
