Chikuma Loop®
Chikuma Loop is an innovative system that facilitates the recycling of a variety of clothing materials, including 100% cotton and blended fabrics, transforming them back into resources for new products. This initiative is part of a pioneering public-private partnership in Kitakyushu City, implemented with Chikuma's affiliated company, NCS Corporation. With their long-standing commitment to recycling, Chikuma has developed the Chikuma Loop, which processes recovered garments through crushing, re-spinning, and felting to create new products, including automotive interior materials.
Chikuma H.U.B®
Chikuma’s uniform management system, known as H.U.B (Hub), is designed to track uniform usage and conditions, enhancing security measures against loss or theft. By managing uniforms individually with technologies such as RFID tags, barcodes, and QR codes, clients can monitor uniforms from purchase to lending, return, and cleaning. This system enables real-time inventory checks, timely distributions, and efficient warehouse management, thus minimizing costs, excess inventory, and waste in uniform management. It also contributes to reducing environmental impacts through reuse and recycling, supporting companies striving towards their SDGs goals.
Fukuiku®: Cultivating a Rich Heart Through Clothing
Founded in 2004, Chikuma's Fukuiku initiative aims to foster social skills, environmental awareness, health, safety, and cultural understanding through education related to clothing. This comprehensive approach emphasizes the development of life skills and a rich mindset. Over the years, Fukuiku has expanded its presence in the education sector and among various industries related to fashion and environmental issues.
