Zoomlion Kicks Off 2025 with Major Delivery Milestone
On February 7, 2025, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. made a significant mark at the beginning of the year with an impressive delivery of over 10,000 construction units valued at approximately $782 million. This monumental event took place at the Zoomlion Smart Industrial City headquarters in Changsha, China, showcasing the company’s continuous commitment to delivering high-quality machinery on a global scale.
The Breakdown of Deliveries
The delivery event highlighted Zoomlion's capacity, featuring a wide array of construction machinery. Among the most notable deliveries was the shipment of more than 850 cranes, valued at a remarkable 1.8 billion yuan ($246.96 million). This included the world's largest all-terrain crane, which boasts a lifting capacity of 4,000 tons and is legally transportable on public roads. This crane will soon head to Shaanxi province for a significant wind energy installation project.
In addition to cranes, the concrete machinery division played a pivotal role, dispatching over 1,200 units worth one billion yuan ($137 million). Among these were the world’s longest lightweight concrete pump truck with a 73-meter boom and various models of concrete mixer trucks and pumps deployed across various projects in China and international markets like Australia, Nigeria, Mexico, Brazil, and Peru.
The earthmoving and mining segment also contributed significantly, with over 1,300 units valued at 900 million yuan ($123.48 million), including 38-ton excavators and the ZT160HEV, the world’s first 100-ton dump truck. These machines are heading to major construction and mining sites around the world.
Moreover, the division specializing in aerial work platforms shipped over 1,100 units valued at nearly 300 million yuan ($41.16 million), featuring a flagship straight boom lift with a height of 72 meters. This fleet includes scissor lifts and articulated boom lifts destined for various international markets.
The tower crane factory at Zoomlion also achieved a remarkable feat by delivering tower cranes and construction hoists valued at 700 million yuan ($96.04 million), with 70% of these orders coming from overseas markets, underscoring the international demand for Zoomlion products.
