On September 24, 2026, Aria Care Partners announced the appointment of Dr. Veda Lewis-Simmons, DPM, MHA, as their new Chief Medical Officer for Podiatry. Dr. Lewis-Simmons' journey in the medical field is impressive. She holds both a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Des Moines University. Her residency was completed at the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, making her board-certified in podiatry.

Before joining Aria Care Partners, Dr. Lewis-Simmons operated her own mobile foot care practice and took on leadership responsibilities as the owner and executive director of the Attentive Adult Day Center in Missouri. Her previous position as Associate Medical Director at U.S. Medical Management allowed her to oversee medical staff while developing clinical guidelines that improved community engagement. Additionally, she has a rich background in managing successful surgical private podiatry practices across Missouri.
