Hokkaido is known for its rich agricultural produce, and now residents of Tokyo can enjoy the freshest offerings delivered directly from this northern island via air cargo. This initiative is part of the Hokkaido government's efforts to maintain and expand its air cargo network while also addressing the logistics challenges posed by the 2024 problem. With this campaign, they aim to boost air freight usage and raise awareness about local specialties.

Campaign Overview

The promotional campaign runs from September 1 (Monday) to October 26 (Sunday) at six locations of Shunpachi Seika-ten in Tokyo:

The selection sold in Tokyo includes an array of freshly picked fruits and vegetables, as well as processed agricultural and seafood goods, directly shipped from producers throughout Hokkaido. Buyers have personally visited farms to negotiate directly with producers, ensuring high-quality items. Some examples of products available include:
