LONGi's New Solar Manufacturing Project in Indonesia

LONGi, a global leader in photovoltaic (PV) solutions, has officially kicked off a strategic project to build an advanced solar module manufacturing facility in Indonesia. The initiative is developed in collaboration with Pertamina New Renewable Energy (Pertamina NRE), a subsidiary of Pertamina, Indonesia's state-owned energy company. Located in Deltamas, West Java, the new facility will have an impressive annual production capacity of 1.6 GW, utilizing LONGi's state-of-the-art Hybrid Passivated Back Contact (HPBC) 2.0 technology for producing highly efficient solar modules. The project aims to enter production preparations by June 2025, significantly enhancing Indonesia's local solar PV production capabilities.
