Collaboration to Create Healthy Salads
In a significant partnership, Diet Cook Supply, a subsidiary of Kenko Mayonnaise Co., has joined forces with students from Fukuyama University's Faculty of Life Sciences and Nutritional Science to develop two new salads aimed at the increasing health-conscious consumer base. Starting this May, these two innovative salad dishes will be available for a limited time at selected retail stores in the Chugoku-Shikoku region.
Fukuyama University is renowned for its rigorous curriculum and strong focus on practical applications through community volunteer activities in dietary education. This unique approach fosters a deep understanding of nutrition, equipping students with both expertise and empathy, paving their way to becoming certified dietitians. The partnership between the university and Diet Cook Supply originated from a mutual desire to make a positive social impact through food.
Following the success of a pasta salad co-developed last summer, which was met with enthusiastic feedback from both students and retail partners, both parties have decided to continue this fruitful collaboration.
