SciBase Strengthens Collaboration with Castle Biosciences Through Additional Order
SciBase Advances Collaboration with Castle Biosciences
SciBase Holding AB, a prominent player in AI-driven dermatological technology, has recently announced a pivotal development in its relationship with Castle Biosciences, a U.S.-based leader in molecular diagnostics. The collaboration, which began in 2025, aims to enhance the management of skin conditions through cutting-edge technology and research.
On September 8, 2026, SciBase revealed that it secured an additional order worth approximately $0.6 million, equivalent to around 5 million Swedish Krona (MSEK). This order is significant as it not only accelerates the existing clinical study but also lays the groundwork for a second clinical study under the current partnership. The order includes the portable Nevisense Go device and accompanying electrodes, underscoring SciBase's commitment to innovation in dermatology.
The initial study, which focuses on predicting relapses in atopic dermatitis, is ongoing. Pia Renaudin, CEO of SciBase, emphasized the swift progress being made.
