Scheduled from May 16 to 17, 2026, this two-day, one-night adventure is exclusively designed for boys in grades 1 through 9, offering an exciting opportunity to explore the world of trains while fostering independence and teamwork.

About the Camp

The camp will be conducted in Shizuoka Prefecture, where participants can dive into the realm of train photography, affectionately known as "Tori-Tetsu." Children will work together to create their ideal itinerary, all while being guided by experienced staff throughout their journey, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience even for the youngest attendees.

The trip is perfectly timed for the early summer, a season when kids are well-adjusted to their new school year. It provides an excellent opportunity to nurture their hobbies and emotional development. Join us for this unforgettable experience!

Key Highlights:
1. Create Your Own Adventure: Children will have the chance to consult with their peers to organize schedules and decide on the trains they'd like to photograph and travel with. The first night's accommodations will be at the Oigawa Railway Kawane Onsen Hotel, boasting views of live train tracks right from their room!

2. Get Behind the Scenes at the Depot: Kids can dive into the workings of a real train depot at the Tenryu Fukuhara Station. Activities will include:
- Automatic Car Wash: Experience the thrill of passing through a wash while onboard!
- Turntable Experience: A unique chance to rotate on the renowned Oigawa Railway turntable with the train itself!
- Mini Train Ride: A short journey on rails for a close-up view of the conductor in action, a true delight for train enthusiasts!

3. Building Bonds Through Common Interests: With a shared passion for trains, attendees can deepen their friendships. Crafting their schedules together allows them to enhance their collaborative skills, ensuring they learn the importance of teamwork.

Schedule Overview

Day 1:

- 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Depart from Tokyo via Shinkansen to Shizuoka Station
- Adventure kicks off from Shizuoka Station, experience local train travel unlimited!
- Arrive at the hotel on time, with thrilling views of the Oigawa Railway from the rooms!

Day 2:

- Switching trains to reach the Tenryu Hamana Lake Railway's depot.
- Participate in the car wash experience and turntable ride.
- Final leg: A short ride on rails back to the station for a thrilling conclusion.
- Expected arrival back in Tokyo: Between 6 PM and 7 PM.
