Leviton Unveils New Cutting-Edge Solutions for AI and Hyperscale Data Centers

Leviton Unveils New Solutions for AI Networks and Hyperscale Data Centers

On November 19, 2025, Leviton, a leading manufacturer in the data center industry, unveiled an impressive range of fiber optic cabling and connectivity solutions tailored for the unique demands of hyperscale and AI networks. This announcement highlights the company's ongoing commitment to innovation in data center infrastructure, demonstrating its expertise in providing sophisticated solutions designed to meet the increasing demands of modern technology.

Innovative Fiber Optic Solutions

The new offerings from Leviton target the rapidly expanding needs in the realm of fiber optic connections, particularly in environments characterized by high volume and density. The STRATA™ infrastructure solutions have been formulated to ensure both greater density and faster deployment of AI technologies. With bandwidth demands surging, Leviton is stepping up to support the high fiber count required for AI-driven data centers. Key features include:

  • - IDX Enclosures capable of housing 6,912 fibers for seamless splicing or interconnectivity.
  • - High density fiber patch panels that accommodate 3,456 fibers within a single rack unit, utilizing a compact 16-fiber very small form factor (MMF) connectivity.
  • - Mass Connect System for the rapid establishment of AI and machine learning fiber networks, addressing the urgent infrastructure needs of modern data centers.

This new ecosystem is designed to anticipate the scalability that AI applications demand, with manufacturing capabilities expanded across five fiber optic factory sites worldwide. Each site is certified, ensuring high-quality output that supports the requirements of large-scale operations.

Immersion-Ready Cabling for Enhanced Cooling Solutions

With modern AI data centers increasingly employing immersion cooling techniques to enhance energy efficiency, Leviton has introduced the TORRENT™ immersion-ready cabling systems. These solutions are engineered to perform effectively with select cooling fluids and have undergone stringent testing to meet compatibility requirements. Notably, the materials used in these products have retained significant tensile strength after extensive thermal aging, ensuring longevity and reliability in demanding environments.

Expanded Manufacturing Capacity

To further bolster its capabilities, Leviton recently completed a significant expansion of its fiber optic cable manufacturing facility in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, investing $25 million to double its production capacity. This expansion showcases Leviton's readiness to support both U.S. and global data centers with rapid scaling and delivery of fiber optic solutions. Additionally, facilities in Europe have been extended to meet diverse market demands.

VAULT Collaboration Lab

Among the innovative offerings, Leviton has introduced its VAULT collaboration labs. These specialized environments allow customers to experience firsthand the tailored solutions that Leviton creates in conjunction with hyperscale and AI data center operators. Here, clients can explore the next-generation STRATA solutions, customized for their operational requirements.

New AI Network Alliance with Cisco

In a bid to enhance its infrastructure offerings, Leviton announced an Engineering Alliance Partnership with Cisco in June 2025. This collaboration aims to deliver seamless expansion opportunities and innovative integration solutions for AI-ready data centers. By forming this alliance, Leviton and Cisco strive to address the anticipated rise in AI workloads, promoting reliability and modular deployment options.

Enhanced Design Expertise

Recognizing the critical need for expert guidance in designing network infrastructures, Leviton has expanded its team of data center design engineers. This expert team includes certified associates in AI Infrastructure and Operations, providing clients with optimal designs, conceptual drawings, and meticulous planning tailored to meet specific project needs. The support structure includes comprehensive customer service and technical assistance aimed at ensuring successful deployments.

Educational Initiatives

To further support the growth of knowledge in the industry, Leviton has recently launched Beyond Bandwidth, a podcast series dedicated to AI. This series aims to educate and inform listeners about network architecture, emerging technologies, power and cooling challenges, and much more through discussions led by industry experts.
