Geely Farizon Unveils Comprehensive Electric Commercial Vehicle Range at IAA Transportation 2026
Geely Farizon Showcases Electric Vehicles at IAA Transportation 2026
Geely Farizon recently made its official debut at the IAA Transportation 2026 event, presenting a wide range of electric commercial vehicles, including the Farizon SV, the Farizon V7E, and the flagship electric heavy-duty truck, Homtruck. As European fleets face increasing pressure to reduce CO₂ emissions while maintaining operational uptime and minimizing total cost of ownership (TCO), Geely Farizon is positioning itself as a long-term local partner in the European market, backed by the industrial scale and technical expertise of Geely Holding Group.
The electric architectures developed by Geely Farizon are built on decades of automotive experience from the parent group, global research, and compliance with regulations. This structural foundation ensures optimal efficiency, durability, and high safety redundancy, helping commercial operators manage lifecycle risks and reduce operational costs during demanding service cycles.
The model lineup showcased in Hannover is tailored for specific European commercial applications. The flagship light commercial vehicle, the Farizon SV, has earned a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP and secured second place in the 'International Van of the Year' (IVOTY) 2026 awards along with the 'What Van? 2026 Zero Emission Van Award.' During the IAA, a preview of the upcoming 2027 model year Farizon SV was also unveiled, boasting enhanced battery-motor performance and all-wheel drive.
For city and last-mile logistics, the compact Farizon V7E features low operational costs, an industry-leading cargo volume, and a very low loading height, earning it a place among the top three finalists for the IVOTY 2027. Completing the portfolio is the Homtruck, which offers a robust, emissions-free solution for heavy-duty and long-distance transport.
To support fleet operations, Geely Farizon is actively expanding its physical presence in Europe. After establishing its European headquarters and subsidiaries in Germany and France, where the SV and V7E launched in April 2026, the brand's distribution network now spans 28 European countries. Reliability is ensured through a dual spare parts supply chain, with a central operational warehouse in Gaggenau, Germany, providing nationwide component delivery within one to six business days. This is supported by the 'Geely Farizon Global Spare Part Distribution Center' based in Ningbo, China, leveraging the integrated strength of the
