On April 18, 2025, the Abu Dhabi Global Health Week (ADGHW) took center stage as it honored outstanding individuals and institutions for their transformative contributions to healthcare. The ADGHW Innovation Awards recognized pioneering solutions in digital health, biotechnology, and diagnostics, showcasing efforts aimed at reshaping the future of health globally.

  • - Dr. Ardem Patapoutian, Nobel Laureate, awarded for his groundbreaking discovery of novel molecular targets in pain perception, opening new therapeutic pathways for treating chronic and neuropathic pain.
  • - Institutions like the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania were recognized for their advancements in prenatal genomic editing technologies and mRNA platform technology, respectively, fundamental for next-generation vaccines.
