Kicking Off with BRING BACK THE SAMURAI


One of the inaugural projects under this initiative is BRING BACK THE SAMURAI Powered by Karcher. It commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Matsudagawa Dam in Tochigi Prefecture, where Karcher has meticulously cleaned a large depiction of a samurai on the dam’s surface. This project was completed in a span of three weeks and reflects the artist Klaus Davoen’s vision of connecting local history with modern artistry. Inspired by the traditional Japanese event “Setsubun,” this artwork symbolizes protection and resilience, aiming to revive historical narratives while enhancing regional tourism.

A Dynamic Collaboration


The Karcher Cleaning Art Project is not just about beautifying the environment—it's also about fostering relationships among different sectors of society.
