Sungrow's Major Contribution to the Nordics' Largest Solar Rooftop Project

On February 17, 2025, the world leader in solar inverters and energy storage systems, Sungrow, announced its participation in the largest photovoltaic rooftop installation in the Nordic countries. Located at DSV's logistics center in Landskrona, Sweden, this ambitious project includes a staggering 24,000 solar panels covering an area of 100,000 square meters. The completed solar installation is set to generate 14 MWdc of renewable energy, effectively powering the entire logistics center as well as one of the region's largest refrigerated warehouses.

The project features 34 SG350HX three-phase string inverters and 20 SG250HX string inverters from Sungrow. The SG350HX inverter can reach a maximum power of 352 kW, and it is designed to accommodate high-power modules with string currents of up to 20 A, featuring 16 MPPT channels and an impressive efficiency of 99%. Additionally, the system is equipped with network support capabilities, safety functions—including real-time insulation monitoring—and complies with IP66/C5 environmental protection standards.

Installed by Brion and supplied by Krannich, a global distributor of renewable energy products, this solar project marks a significant milestone in the realm of sustainable energy production and sets a new benchmark for commercial solar projects in the Nordic region.

Fredrik Davidsson, Region Manager South at Brion, expressed pride in completing the largest rooftop solar installation in the Nordics, highlighting the team’s ability to adhere to a tight schedule while delivering work of the highest quality. "This is a great example of our commitment to providing intelligent and scalable energy solutions," he stated.

Tobias Andersson, Major Accounts Manager at Krannich, remarked, "We supplied the inverters for this project. Collaborating with Sungrow ensures that installers have access to top-notch support, which is essential for a project of this scale."

Raphael Henkel, Regional Director for Sweden and Finland at Sungrow, commented, "We are immensely proud that our innovative solutions have been chosen for this important project. Sungrow's mission of clean energy for all aligns perfectly with projects like this, paving the way for a sustainable future."

Projects like this rooftop installation demonstrate Sungrow's unique technical leadership in innovative renewable energy installations, aiding customers in their own commitments to net-zero emissions while advancing the energy transition on both a national and global scale.
