In a groundbreaking joint venture between JR Tokai Real Estate and Takara Leben, the two companies have announced the launch of a new residential project named Novark Hill, located in Matsudo, Chiba Prefecture. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to environmental sustainability and revitalizing local communities through the effective repurposing of existing assets.

The collaboration aims to transform the underutilized JR Tokai employee housing, known as the Matsudo Flat, into modern residences that cater to contemporary living standards. Expected to launch its model room in the spring of 2026, Novark Hill will set a benchmark in sustainable urban development.

This project emerges in response to the recent consolidation of employee housing by JR Tokai, which leaves certain buildings vacant. By utilizing these assets for redevelopment, both companies intend to reduce environmental impact while fostering a sustainable community.

Reduction in Environmental Burden: The renovation will aim for a 20-50% reduction in construction waste and CO₂ emissions, adhering to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's guidelines.
Community Revitalization: The existing structures, which have played a role in nurturing local community ties, will be rejuvenated to serve as new homes, thus contributing positively to the area.

Strategically located about 25 minutes on foot from Matsudo Station and approximately 12 minutes by bus, Novark Hill is set in the serene environment of Nijushi Gaoka, detached from the hustle and bustle of the city. The project will encompass a total of 91 units in a seven-story, reinforced concrete building, with various layouts ranging from 1LDK+S to 3LDK.
