Asahi Advertising Co., Ltd. (Headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Kenichi Fukuchi) is proud to announce its upcoming seminar focusing on legal regulations related to Femtech. This initiative is supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and executed in collaboration with NTT Data Economic Research Institute. The seminar will provide valuable insights for businesses currently involved in or considering Femtech services.

Overview of the Initiative

The seminar aims to promote collaboration among Femtech companies, implementation businesses, medical institutions, and local governments (collectively referred to as indirect support providers). It supports projects that empower women in the workforce to achieve their fullest potential and help them balance their work with significant life events such as pregnancy and childbirth. By enhancing health literacy and overall well-being, the initiative strives to increase corporate diversity and long-term corporate value.

In recent years, various services have emerged in the Femtech support sector. However, it is essential to provide high-safety services that meet legal and regulatory frameworks. This seminar is part of a broader effort to disseminate knowledge about Femtech-related laws and regulations, thereby assisting businesses in their operations and expansion.

Notably, the seminar is open to all interested parties, not just indirect support providers. It is designed to foster a shared understanding of Femtech-related regulations across society.

- Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act: Presented by the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
- Display Act: Presented by the Consumer Affairs Agency.
- Regulations on Business Unit Reforms: Presented by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
