JDEnergy's Groundbreaking Project in Hungary
In a significant development for international energy solutions, JDEnergy has successfully completed the grid connection of the MVM energy storage project in Sopronkővesd, Hungary. This facility, featuring an impressive capacity of 11 MW and 22 MWh, marks JDEnergy's first large-scale venture abroad, emphasizing its commitment to advancing energy storage technologies globally.
The project's successful launch was celebrated on May 11, 2026, with Hungarian Energy Minister Csaba Lantos praising the initiative as a pivotal achievement for energy cooperation between Hungary and China. The entire onsite commissioning process took just two days, and during the grid connection tests, the system recorded no significant failures or prolonged downtimes, fully complying with critical operational parameters. It exceeded all necessary tests and secured on-site certification from TÜV Rheinland, subsequently passing the aFRR (Automatic Frequency Recovery Reserve) accreditation test by MAVIR on April 23.
